Progress

Fri Oct 5, 2007, 9:50 PM
After many weeks of craziness and an inability to do anything I have finally had a night free and to myself for the most part. Nothing pressing to do, nowhere to go, no one to bother me, and the one person I don't mind bothering me is doing her own thing tonight. Huzzah, art work can be done. So, the Dryad King has his crown, and it only awaits embellishments such as scrollwork and gold leaf before it is ready for the world to see. By the world I mean the seven or so people that pay attention to my stuff.

The Hartwood Dryad suffered a tragic accident during the move and lost an antler. Last night, I grabbed some very nice gnarled twigs off the trees outside my apartment and put new ones on. Eventually I will retake the pictures and put up what it looks like now.

Now that things have settled down the only thing thats stressing me art wise is space. I really don't have the rooms for materials and finished masks here. I'm going to have to start selling stuff. Anyone want something?

I'm grateful to ~blawte for giving me credit for inspiring the bark mask he recently made and for linking back to my page. Check his stuff out: [link]

Hey, I was just wondering how you eep the bark in place, is it sewn on or is an adhesive. I'm making a costume for Halloween and Ren Fest and need a good face for my druid tree guy, still have yet to name him.
